وصف البرنامج:
يهدف هذا البرنامج الشامل لأبحاث الدراسات الإنسانية والاجتماعية لتشجيع كثافة النشر العلمي المميز لأعضاء هيئة التدريس سواء في Scopus أو في الدوريات السعودية أو الخليجية والعربية المحكمة وتصدر بصفة دورية وذلك لرفع معدلات النشر العلمي لأعضاء هيئة التدريس باسم الجامعة، مما يؤدي إلى رفع تصنيف الجامعة على المستوى الدولي.
المخرجات المتوقعة من البرنامج:
-
> يتوقع نشر عدد من الأبحاث في مجلات عالمية مصنفة في Scopus أو في الدوريات السعودية أو الخليجية والعربية المحكمة وتصدر بصفة دورية وذلك لرفع معدلات النشر العلمي لأعضاء هيئة التدريس بالجامعة في تخصصات العلوم الإنسانية والإسلامية واللغويات وتشجيع ودعم النشر العلمي المتميز باللغة العربية في هذه الدوريات العلمية.

> ارتفاع معدل النشر العلمي لأعضاء هيئة التدريس.

> ارتفاع معدل الاستشهاد لأعضاء هيئة التدريس.

> رفع تصنيف الجامعة على المستوى الدولي.
معايير وضوابط خاصة بالبرنامج:
1. يجب أن تنشر نتائج الأبحاث على هيئة Research Article في دوريات مصنفة حسب قاعدة بيانات Web of Science أو في مجلات مصنفة في Scopus أو مجلات سعودية أو عربية محكمة وغير مصنفة في ISI & Scopus ويشترط أن يتقدم الباحث الرئيس للمشروع بورقة واحدة على الأقل بنهاية المشروع.
2. ميزانية المشروع الأساسية تصرف على دفعتين:

> الدفعة الأولى: تدفع للباحث بعد توقيع العقد للصرف على متطلبات الدراسة وتكاليف النشر وقيمتها 8,000 ثمانية ألاف ريال سعودي.

> الدفعة الثانية: يتم استكمال تسليمها للطرف الثاني حال استحقاقها حسب تصنيف مجلة البحث وفق الجدول المرفق، وذلك بعد تقديم الورقة العلمية المنشورة في إحدى المجلات المصنفة ضمن قاعدة بيانات ISI أو طبقا لقاعدة بيانات Scopus، لنفس عام النشر مع إرفاق صفحة المستخلص كما ظهرت على صفحة Web of Science أو Scopus.
بالإضافة للدفعة الأولى، تكون الدفعة الثانية حسب الجدول التالي:

3. يجب التنويه بدعم جامعة جدة في المكان المخصص لذلك بالمجلة المنشور بها البحث وبالصيغة الواردة باللغة الإنجليزية في الضوابط العامة أو بالصيغة التالية باللغة العربية:

Social Sciences and Humanities Research Program
Program Description:
This program aims to encourage intensive distinguished scientific publishing by faculty members, whether in Scopus or in peer-reviewed Saudi, Gulf, or Arab periodicals, to increase faculty members’ publishing rates and improve the university's international rankings.
The expected outputs of the program:
• A number of research papers published in Scopus-indexed international journals or in Saudi, Gulf, or Arab peer-reviewed periodicals, in order to raise the rates of academic publishing for university faculty members in the specializations of the humanities, Islamic studies, and linguistics, and to encourage and support distinguished academic publishing in the Arabic language in these scientific journals.
• High rate of scientific publishing for faculty members.
• High citation rate for faculty members.
• Raise the university's ranking at the international level.
Program Standards and Regulations:
1. Research results must be submitted in the form of a Research Article and published in an ISI-or Scopus-indexed journal or in Saudi, Gulf, or Arab peer-reviewed periodicals that are not indexed in ISI or Scopus. The principal investigator of the project is required to submit at least one academic paper by the end of the project.
2. The total project budget is paid to the researcher in two installments according to the following:
· The first payment: paid to the researcher after signing the contract to spend on research requirements, and its value is 8,000 Saudi riyals.
· The second payment: delivered to the researcher only if the research article meets the qualification criteria mentioned in the table below, based on the indexing of the research journal. It must be published in one of the ISI or Scopus-indexed journals for the same year of publication. Additionally, the abstract page must be attached as it appears on the Web of Science or Scopus page.
In addition to the first payment, a second payment is made according to the following table:
